I was invited to dinner in a gas station last night, so I wasn’t expecting to dine very well. To my surprise, I had this nice plate of pasta with fresh flavors familiar to the palate.

The fresh pasta was cooked perfectly sitting on some light pomodoro with hints of sage and butter. It brought back memories of my childhood.
Peeking into the show kitchen, I saw the culprit behind my well executed pasta. Massimo, the former chef of Mi Piace - Italian outlet of the Peninsula Manila.
The place wreaked of truffle the entire time we were there. Definitely going back for more pasta.
